“This design incorporates a large square motif found in Z. Ventaskrasts’ book. (Bibliography, page 164.) The front and back of the body are the same; each one motif wide, and one and a half motifs in length. The pattern is an example of “what a difference a gauge makes.” The number of stitches is the same for all sizes and gauge determines the size of the finished garment.

“The model sweater was knit with a basic drop shoulder and a straight boat neck, but there is an optional V-neck. Another option is the sleeve color; one of each as in the model, or both the same color.”
