What’s Black and White was designed as the 6th pattern for the 2013 hats for kids project. It’s a great pattern to use up those small amounts of leftover worsted. The sample hat was knit using only 1-1/2 oz total. So pull out leftover yarn and go for it. Adjust the size of the stripes accordingly and use more colors if desired.

Size is suitable for a child in 3rd to 5th grade. Band measures 17” around, but is stretchable. Hat can easily be made in a larger size by adjusting the number of cast-on stitches in multiples of 8.
