This simple little cabled headband uses about 100 yards of worsted weight yarn. It measures 19 inches around when buttoned up but can easily be made longer by adding more cable repeats.

Size US 5 (3.75 mm) needles (or size needed to obtain gauge.)Cable needle

Tapestry needle

Gauge:
5 stitches=1 inch in stockinette stitch
