Nature, history and culture are defining elements of many Dale Garn patterns. Whistler is no exception – you’ll see many of the motifs associated not only with skiing but also the ruggedly beautiful Canadian landscape. The maple leave, long a proud symbol of Canada, is also evident in this design.
This sweater was originally designed for the Canadian Alpine Ski Team in Whistler in 2005. The team wore the sweater at press conferences, interviews and special events. The pattern was first made available to hand knitters as part of a Commemorative Collection, Book 8501.
We are pleased to be able to offer this out-of-print pattern as a digital download.
