Masculine. Feminine. Subdued. Elegant. These socks fit many descriptions, and once you’ve knit one pair, you may very well need to knit another in completely different colors to experience all the variations.

This fairly common Japanese wrapped stitch pattern resembles tiny thorns, the hallmark of acacia like the whistling thorn tree. These socks are stretchy, and not at all thorny.

The pattern fits a US Woman’s size 8.5 foot. You can adjust the fit by knitting with either larger or smaller needles, or adding an extra purl stitch at the start of the pattern repeats, if needed.

A bonus cup cozy pattern is included with this pattern.
