This baby bib was inspired by the Who? hat by Sara Amoroso. I made the hat for my toddler and thought the owls were too cute to wear only during the winter, so I designed this bib.

I prefer a more densely knit fabric for a bib to keep it more bulletproof, so I used size 4 needles for the stockinette portion of the bib. Also, if the needles are too big, the bib can be too wide. Because the cables pull the fabric considerably, I recommend knitting those 19 rows with larger needles.

Version 1.1 changes: I added 6 rows of stockinette to length of bib to allow for shrinkage. I also made a few minor corrections and clarifications. Converted to pdf. Updated 5-14-11.
