This hat pattern is written for yarn weights ranging from DK and Sport to Worsted and Aran.

Instructions are given for gauges of 18, 20, 22, or 24 stitches = 4 inches.

Finished measurements (circumference) range from 15 to 24 inches.

Yarn requirements--2 50-gram skeins (1 light, 1 dark) of the chosen yarn, and another skein of a soft blend (alpaca, angora, kid mohair) in the same or a slightly lighter weight for the earflaps, hem lining and tassel.
