The Wicker Weave Coin Purse utilizes a beautifully textured stitch that looks like woven wicker when complete. The pattern uses all basic stitches. The only reason it’s rated an Easy Intermediate is that you will work in several rows at the same time. If you’re up for a rewarding challenge, download the pattern and enjoy learning to create this amazing textured stitch.

The coin purse is perfect for stowing change, or capture all those small items that float around inside your purse. You’ll be organized and clutter free!

A skein makes two - three coin purses, so make one for you and give the others away! Your sisters and girlfriends will love getting these as gifts for birthdays and Christmas. They’re great for craft sales too! Finished size is 4” H x 7” W.

Pattern includes instructions for working a key ring right into the stitches so you can add a strap or attach it to your key chain.

Once crocheting is complete, finishing your purses requires some sewing to add a lining and a zipper closure. You can use a machine or hand sew. If sewing isn’t in your skill set, recruit a friend or family member with seamstress skills to help. It only takes a half hour to create the lining and set the zipper. I have filmed a step-by-step instructional video to walk you through the process which can be viewed at http://funcrochetdesigns.com/crochet/index.php/helpful-tips/.
