This wide scarf has an openwork ripple but is still warm because it is long and wide enough for several wraps around. (Finished size is 6-1/2” by 80”.) For a cozy look, try felting the scarf in the washing machine.

Width can be adjusted by adding or removing multiples of 22 chains. Although it may appear at first that the peaks don’t line up evenly, continue with the pattern as written for best results.
