Wiedewiedewenne is the name of the hen in an ancient German children’s song about a whole menagerie of farm animals and the sounds each of them makes.

Egg cozies are used in Germany to keep boiled breakfast eggs hot until breakfast participants come to the table. They are put on top of the unpeeled eggs standing in specials egg cups which are part of many breakfast dish sets.
