Wild Thing is based on a fabric cowl I own. I wanted to recreate the narrow, gathered sections but still maintain the fluffy soft sections. Enter ribbing and brioche!

Wild Thing is a great way to work out your fear of brioche with its long sections of rhythmic brioche stitch punctuated by short, familiar sections of ribbing. The fabric should be soft and squishy, so you may want to play with needle size to get the perfect drape.

Your yarn could be any fingering weight yarn. I chose La Jolla Dipped and Dappled because of the fabulous colors and softness of this yarn. Choose a yarn that is softly spun rather than springy for the best draping.
