The dappled hues of Wild Thyme flow rhythmically through the soft tufts of tightly looped boucle and the crisply defined stitches of its worsted-spun counterpart. The yarns are light luxuriant blends of alpaca and merino with a bit of silk in one, bamboo in the other. Both are hand-painted in the same rich blend of colors. Worn with the broad, square-back collar wrapped just over the edge of the shoulders, the result is a jacket that is closely fitted through the torso and at the waist. Gather the collar in close at the neckline allowing the outer edges to flare outward from the bodice and, voilà, it becomes a swing coat.
