I have designed Wildberry Bear specifically for the recommended yarns listed below. These are super chunky yarns, a bit more than super chunky in my opinion. If you wish to use thinner yarns please adjust your needle size to at least 2 sizes smaller than recommended needle size on the ball band.

Wildberry Bear is quite a quick knit due to the nature of these yarns, less stitches and rows will create a lovely size bear. Wildberry Bear measures 20 inches/51cms from head to toe or 14 inches/36cms sitting.

His legs, feet and body are knitted flat, as one piece, seamed along the back and inside legs. Then seamed along the hip to give him nice floppy legs. His head, ears and arms are knitted separately and stitched in place. I have included a step by step making up guide, with lots of photos, to help you assemble him. Because of the shaping he’s very easy to stuff and assemble.

Sirdar – Alpine (5 balls)
James C Brett – Chinchilla (3 balls)
Rico by Design – Petit Lapin (3 balls)
KnitPicks – Fable Fur (3 balls)
Lion Brand – Go For Faux Fur (3 balls)

You will also need a plain super chunky yarn for the paw pads and inner ears. I suggest a yarn that requires 10mm needles, although you will be using 6mm needles.
