A quick and gorgeous unisex design with a size for both children and adults. I wanted to capture the fun of getting back to nature with the water, the forest, and the mountains. A great design for those who love camping, hiking, hunting, or any other outdoor activity.

I used most of one skein of Valley Yarns Northampton for a master color for the base of the hat and then 5-30 yards of four different contrast colors making this hat a great scrap busting project. You could also try a self-striping or variegated yarn instead of multiple colors for a different look.

You will need a US 7, 16 inch circular, a US 8, 16 inch circular. I use an additional US 8, 16 inch circular when decreasing but you can use a US 8, 32 or 40 inch circular for magic loop at decreases if you prefer. You will also need a darning needle for cast off and weaving in ends.
