Wildflower Hexagon Blanket
Designed by Robyn Chachula for Marly Bird.com
The Wildflower Hexagon Blanket is a floral, motif-based crochet throw featuring a field of hexagons, 3D blossoms, and a decorative border. Hexagon motifs are worked in a main color, then joined together with half, quarter, and partial hexes to square off the edges. Flower motifs are worked separately and attached for dimensional pops of color.
The pattern uses mostly basic stitches plus a few special techniques like stacked stitches, back post stitches, and a thread join for connecting motifs. Instructions include detailed rounds and rows for each motif type, joining directions, and a multi-round border.
