Wildflowers and their sweet edible roots and bulbs were prized by my ancestors and the motifs in this shawl are to spotlight two of the flowers. Camas and Glacier lily. From the neck of the shawl, the camas buds grow to full size then the shawl body is covered with a motif that reminds me of fields of glacier lily. The lilies are framed by buds to a points edging.

This shawl is a wide triangle knit from the top-down all in one piece. Being a true lace, there is double-sided patterning in the Glacier Lily motif. You can easily adjust the size by varying body repeats.

Gauge is not critical.
