This cardigan features an interesting twist on construction—the upper section is worked from side to side; then, from that section, stitches for the lower section are picked up and worked downward. As a result, the lace panels appear in horizontal bands across the upper body and sleeves. Knitted in a high-twist yarn with beautiful silken drape, the asymmetrical closure adds an elegant finish.
