Williwaw Cardigan

Knitting
August 2015
Fingering (14 wpi) ?
24 stitches and 32 rows = 4 inches
in stockinette
US 2 - 2.75 mm
1337 - 2483 yards (1223 - 2270 m)
37 (42, 47, 52, 58)" (94 [106.5, 119.5, 132, 147.5] cm) bust circum- ference with fronts overlapped so side seams align with side folds.

This cardigan features an interesting twist on construction—the upper section is worked from side to side; then, from that section, stitches for the lower section are picked up and worked downward. As a result, the lace panels appear in horizontal bands across the upper body and sleeves. Knitted in a high-twist yarn with beautiful silken drape, the asymmetrical closure adds an elegant finish.
