Get ready for your next trek through the willow woods with this textured beanie that will provide you warmth and coziness when the cold wind blows !

“Willow wood” is worked bottom up and in the round, using basic stitches (knits and purls) and simple shaping techniques.
The pattern stitch, easily memorized, is both written and charted.

The very simple design of it makes it a fun and quick project: just choose a soft yarn in your favorite color (variegated are welcome!), put it on your DPNs (or circular needles if you prefer the Magic Loop technique), and a few hours later, you will get your own personal version of this lovely textured beanie !

And you know what ? this beanie is reversible ! (see pics at the bottom of the page).

I chose a lovely bulky yarn to work it Bouton d’Or Steppe, but any bulky yarn of your choice will do just as well.

This unisex pattern comes in 2 sizes:
woman (W) 50.5-56 cm/20-22”;
man (M) 56-61 cm/22-24”.

Skills required :

  • Knit, purl ;
  • basic shaping techniques : P2tog, K2tog, Skp.
  • knitting in the round

femme (F) – tour de tête de 50,5 à 56 cm ;
homme (H) – tour de tête de 56 à 61 cm.
