Carla Meijsen and Hilly van der Sluis, the design duo known as The Dutch Knitters, have a passion for Estonian lace. They have created this delicate scarf for us, which blends traditional Haapsalu lace patterns and construction with clever windmill motifs in honour of their home country of The Netherlands. This project is a wonderful way to try out techniques such as nupps and three-stitch stars. The instructions are both written out and charted for you.
