This is the extra small version of the sweater that appeared on the cover of the Autumn 2014 issue of Creative Knitting. To purchase the full pattern with chest sizes 36 (40 1/2, 44 1/2, 47 3/4, 52, 55 3/4) inches (buttoned) go to Creative Knitting.

This top down yoke cardi is the perfect for keeping away the autumn chill in style. The lace detail at the cuff, hem and yoke adds a feminine touch. The swing shape is flattering on all!

In yoke construction, the stitches will be increasing for the body, and arms at the same time. Since the exact stitch count is vital for not only the lace pattern, but for the construction itself, it’s helpful to count your stitches after every increase row.
