These knitted flowers and butterflies are tied onto wine glass stems. You could also use as decorations for hats or jewellery. They are also great projects to use up odds and ends of yarn.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, these are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 4mm single pointed knitting needles (US 6).

RECOMMENDED YARN
Paintbox Yarns Simply DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; a few grammes in each colour.


NOTIONS
Tapestry needle and buttons to decorate.

SIZES
One size only - 5 to 6cm wide.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and a little bit of seaming to finish.
