One of the things I love about the city that I live in is Hillandale Park, that’s about a half mile from my house. We like to roam around the hike/bike paths, which are wonderfully cool in the summer. For a few short weeks every year the forest is full of wineberry bushes in full fruit, which my neighbors and I happily pick by the gallon.

Knit on large needles in the lovely Anzula Croquet, a DK weight yarn in the loveliest of shades and a wonderfully soft hand, this shawl is fast and fun to make. It uses an interesting stepwise shaping technique to result in a shallow triangle shape that sits nicely on the shoulders.
