Because of different reasons I am pausing my business. This means that until further notice all my self published designs with costs are set on inactive to prevent financial flow. They will be available again when I can re-open my business. If you would like to have a pattern, feel free to look at the “WISHLIST” bundle in my personal Ravelry favourites. If there are patterns in it, you can inbox me for a gifted pattern swap. : ) All free patterns are still available and I plan to add some in the near future.

This crescent shaped lace shawl is available in two body sizes. It is one of two Shawls inspired by Estonian Stitch Patterns. The Estonian Blossom is the other.

I used approx. 12 grammes of Toho beads in size 8/0. Of course you can use bigger beads. I used the smaller beads because I wanted to add just a little sparkle.

The border stitch pattern is worked on right as well as wrong side rows, so I would say it is a design for advanced knitters.

The graph shows the size of my sample shawl directly after blocking

Thank you to Isabelle for the German translation.

IMPORTANT: Please note, that the 3 stitches increases between garter stitch border and shawl body are created from the strand between the stitches and not knitted into a stitch. The stitch glossery clearly says: “Row 3: K, yo, k into the strand between the two stitches.”
