This crescent shaped shawl uses a unique stitch pattern to create the illusion of falling leaves - or feathered wings, depending on how you look at it. Inspired by the crochet crocodile stitch, it’s worked by casting on and casting off stitches. Lace weight yarn is held double to create a multi-season layering piece that stays put on your shoulders.

Knit from the outer edge inward, working back and forth on long circular needles, this pattern calls for no fancy stitches - just casting on, binding off, and decreases.
