Slipped stitches, like gulls wings, line up across a background of stockinette. Double knitting shapes this cowl knitted side to side. Picots embellish the lower edge and are worked as you go.
Cowl is knit side-to-side with 3 patterns across each row—first a section of garter, then 8 sts in double knitting, then a slipped stitch pattern worked in 6 row repeats.

Cowl is 8½” long and measures 20” around the neck & 24” around the bottom edge.

Skills used are knit cast-on, ssk, loose bindoff.
