For that just oh so right accessory – Winner’s Circle Cowl is a quick, easy and versatile necessity! With scrap yarns on hand, Winner only takes a couple of hours to make. This cowl was orginally created from a challenge. So, I challenge you to not be limited by the instructions! Be limited only by your own imagination…different yarns (mix and match weights!) Joining together in different ways is also possible.

This eye-catching cowl is done in increasing chains for the ‘strands’. For best results, I highly recommend reading through the pattern before beginning. When you have read through the pattern, you may think to yourself, “Why don’t I just crochet 3 strands and attach them together?” You can. I have. The thing is, it doesn’t have quite the same look. By joining as you go, each strand stacks a bit on top of the previous strand in a cascading manner. And, while the pattern instructions go from shortest to longest, it can be reversed for a different look.
