The Winslow Hat is dedicated to my oldest son. He remains encouraging and full of ideas for all my knitting endeavors. He is always ready for a new adventure outdoors - just the time when you need a hat.

The grace of a diagonal line set against a strong vertical line– a design combination that is easy to find in architecture, printed fabric and nature. The Winslow Hat creates these lines in a lattice of cables that climb from the ribbed brim to the crown. Brim may be folded back for a snug beanie fit or left down for a slouchy fit. The hat is designed in 4 sizes in worsted weight yarn. The pattern has both written and charted instructions.

Yardage 110 (140, 210, 240) yards / 100 (130, 190, 220) meters worsted weight yarn. 20 yards of contrast color yarn if using for brim cast-on option.

This hat is knit in the round from the brim to the crown. The cable flows intuitively, making it an ideal project to perfect new cable skills.
Complete the set with the Attune scarf.
