A large cosy shawl that uses clashing stripes of colour to create a stunning statement piece to wear all year round. Using rhythmic stripes to modernize the granny crochet stitch, the resulting piece is light, super warm and can be worn around the shoulders as a shawl or around the neck as a triangle scarf. Add tassels for a finishing touch.

You could choose to make this pattern in a single colour, or use a self striping yarn like I did to do all the colour work for you. This is such an easy relaxing project to make - if you can make a granny square, you can make this beginner friendly shawl!
