The author describes this as : “Warm and smart, this is a beautiful wool dress with frills around the shoulders. It looks great by itself, or add a touch of elegance with an optional white collar (instructions for both a round collar and a pointed collar are inc. in book) or the white pinafore (listed as ‘summer frills’- a separate pattern).

Again, as is usual in the book ‘Kids’ Knits’ - size is varied by changing the needle size as much as by varying stitch counts - so needles can vary from 3 to 3.75mm depending on desired size. Sizes 1,2,3,4,5,6 start from birth to age 5yrs.
