THESE CHARMING mittens by Outi Kater feature star motifs on the back of the hands, and a diamond lattice on the palms. They are knitted in the round using the stranded colourwork technique and three beautiful heather, purple and blue shades of Shetland wool. They have two rounds of braid, worked with three different shades, at the cuff. “The inside of the wrist hides a little surprise: the year 2020, knitted above the braiding,” Outi says.
