Winter Solstice Hat Knitting Pattern

PDF pattern, includes written instructions and photos.

As winter draws in I think it feels really nice to knit something warm and cosy for your loved one.
This Fair Isle hat was inspired by the period prior to the winter solstice: I live in the Northern Hemisphere where this time of the year days get shorter and the Sun appears low on the horizon. The light and dark colours of the hat represent the contrast between day and night.
I used Sugar Bush Bold yarn for its luxurious feel.
