Pattern description from Handknit Holidays: “These sophisticated table runners are a beautiful way to ‘dress’ the holiday table. The center gray one is embellished with sashiko - a Japanese form of running-stitch embroidery - in a carmonious design that can be interpreted in many ways. The intersecting circles can recall the arc of the sun’s path, the cycles of the seasons, the encircling embrace of a loved one, or even poinsettias. The lace pattern of the two taupe side table runners resemble candle flames; the optional embroidered stars are inspired by huck embroidery.”

Finished Measurements:
Sashiko version: Approx 16” wide by 55” long
Openwork version: Approx 16” wide by 48” long

Additional Gauge: 25 sts and 34 rows = 4” (10cm) in Stockinette stitch (St st), using larger needles and MC.
