These fingerless gloves will keep any man’s hands warm but give the finger dexterity to feel his work.

I love the trees in winter that show just how strong they are. I decided to design a cable stitch to commemorate the winter tree.

This pattern includes complete instructions, list of abbreviations used and charts.

You will need:
Cascade Yarn Cherub Aran tan or other light worsted weight yarn such as Caron Simply soft that will give you the correct working guage: 1 skein (111 Yards) (102 gms)

This pattern is worked in the round so size 6 (4mm) double pointed needles are needed.

Also needed: Tapestry needle for finishing ends
Scrap yarn for holding thumb gusset
3 stitch markers, 1 for beginning of round and one for each end of thumb gusset

It is 6 1/2 inch around the wrist and 7 1/2” around the knuckles when it is resting. My husband, who wears large size men’s gloves, wrists are 7 1/2 inch around and his knuckles are 9 inch around. Because the knit is so stretchy, they are in no means stretched to the to the max when he tries them on.
