Designer Notes: “To add swing to the skirt, I added a side gore that tapered from the hem to the waist at each side. Doing so added at least 12 inches (30.5 cm) to the bottom circumference of the skirt, allowed the edges to meet gracefully at the center front, and added centered cable motifs along each side of the coat.” --Michele Rose Orne
