Try out this free crochet pattern for child size ear warmers that combines a soft bulky weight yarn for the ear covers with a worsted weight yarn for the headband and edging. These ear warmers utilize an Alice-type 1” hard headband to help them keep their shape and keep their place on your little one’s head. I have labelled this pattern “advanced intermediate”, it uses only 2 basic stitches (single crochet and double crochet) but is a little tricky when it comes to the assembly; however I have included step-by-step photo demonstrations of the whole pattern, which should make it a little easier when you get to those assembly instructions.

The ear covers measure 4 inches in diameter. Length from bottom tip of one ear, measured over the head, to the bottom tip of next ear = 16 inches.
