This is a part of my Game of Thrones series of patterns. Each pattern is inspired by a person or place in the series. This piece is inspired by Winterfell Castle, the seat of House Stark. Winterfell is the last stronghold of civilization before the hitting the bitter cold North. This cardigan is inspired by the stark, straight lines of the architecture I imagined for the castle as well as the patterns made by dangling icicles in a Northern winter. This cardigan is knit from the top down in one piece.
