“The flowers of spring are winter’s dreams!” This verse by Khalil Gibran kept going through my mind as I knitted this top. The lace pattern with the little nupps reminded me of sprouting tulips, which slowly but steadily push themselves out of the ground after the cold season and soon bloom.

The slipover is knitted in rounds up to the armholes and can be adjusted to your desired length; maybe you like to knit a short crop top or a longer version. Then the piece is divided into front and back. 2 different lace patterns with nubs form the lower part of the slipover, then you purl across with ribbed edges. The top is knitted in one piece, bottom up, with about 2 - 7 cm positive ease..

In order to knit the top, basic knowledge and some practice in knitting is all you need. All steps are explained in detail. Patterns are charted and written. For techniques that might not be quite so familiar - such as the 3 needle bind off - links to helpful videos are included.
You will receive a detailed knitting instruction over 12 pages, in English and German language, with an extensive size table, material specifications, yarn alternatives, charts, row by row descriptions, shematic, helpful tips, further links and photos.
