Wintry Mix is a top-down construction triangle shawl, with a center spine. This pattern begins with a Garter tab cast on, then takes shape through increases along the outer edges and both sides of the center spine. Wintry Mix is primarily Fingering-weight, with exception for the border edge section which is worked with the yarn held double (equal to DK weight).

Inspired by the delicate palette of a Garden in Winter with frost tips and crisp lines…

Wintry Mix is designed to be worked with three complimentary colorways, to highlight the varying stitch patterns throughout and flow from one stripe to the next. This shawl is adorned with a double-thickness border of garter stitch & eyelets for a playful edge with subtle texture contrast.
