Instructions are easy to follow and good for beginning sock-knitters. Separate info for sizes from child’s small to men’s large; each size named after a different Wisconsin town. Socks are nominally knee-length/boot socks (excellent for cold weather, as the name would lead you to believe!), but the pattern allows for easy adjustments to length and foot size.

Use a combo of strands of lighter weight yarn to get required gauge, or ons strand of aran weight yarn.

Book includes warm hat and scarf pattern, plus instructions for striped socks and “other goodies.”
