I wanted to have an e-reader for quite some time. Finally I chose the Kindle Paperweight (review in my blog – spoilers: I like it a lot!) and was over joyed when it arrived.

Now I needed a cozy/cover for it and being a knitter it practically suggested itself to knit one. Being also the hypochondriac that I am I still needed it to be more robust than the ones just made from one layer of knitted fabric. Hence I came up with a version consisting of two layers of knitting and cardboard.

Please feel free to ask if my directions are muddle-headed, I hope the pictures explain what I can’t properly describe.

The pattern hasn’t been test knit or beta’ed - so please let me know if you find any mistakes/the pattern is unclear.
