Wissahickon Cowl is inspired by the fencing over the Wissahickon Falls in Philadelphia.

Wissahickon is a stranded cowl that is worked in the round. It has a 23” circumference with a 6st pattern repeat. It uses 3 colors, but only 2 colors are stranded at a time. The spiral ribbing at the top and bottom is meant to reflect the fencing without being too obtrusive and give you the stability of a non-rolling edge.

You will need DK weight yarn in the following amounts:
50g/120 yards of the Color A
10g/24 yards of Color B
5g/12 yards of Color C

Notions: a stitch marker and a darning needle

The pattern is charted for ease in knitting.

This is a quick knit and an easy project for a new stranded knitter!
