Make sure to use a larger hook than the one you used for the body so that it fits over the doll. It will pull up from the feet, and tuck the arms down into the sleeves before pulling it up over the shoulders.

Any color will work, and I recommend worsted weight for a thick weave, double knit for a softer and looser weave.
