Minnesota Yarn Shop Hop 2016

This slouchy hat is named for the fictional town of Lake Wobegon where Garrison Keillor claims “all the women are strong, all the men are good-looking, and all the children are above average.”

This hat is intended to fit an average woman’s head.

Gauge is done in single crochet only - not in the pattern for the hat. Please take the time to do a gauge swatch, and change hooks if necessary to get the recommended gauge.

The sample hat was knit in Sunrise Fiber Co’s Twisted MCN Sock in our exclusive colorway “Lake of the Woods.” But, any fingering weight yarn should work.
