Wonder of Cables hat. Who doesn’t love cables? Cables have become my favourite stitch to knit. This hat was designed for my 7 year old daughter. She wanted a hat to wear in the cold Saskatchewan winters. I doubled up the brim so her ears will stay warm! Add the cables and wow! She really loves her hat!

This pattern comes with 2 different styles of a hat. The hat shown in the picture is the slouch hat. There are also instructions to knit a beanie. You can decide which style you prefer.

As usual, this pattern is both charted and written. The pattern comes in 4 different sizes:

Slouch Hat: (height x circumference)
Toddler: 8” (20.5 cm) x 12” (30.5 cm)
Child: 9.5” (24 cm) x 14.5” (37 cm)
Adult Small: 10.5” (26.5 cm) x 16” (40.5 cm)
Adult Large:11” (30 cm) x 18” (45.5 cm)

Beanie:
Toddler: 6.25 “ (16 cm) x 12” (30.5 cm)
Child: 7.5” (19 cm) x 14.5” (37 cm)
Adult Small: 7.75” (19.5 cm) x 16” (40.5 cm)
Adult Large: 8.25 (21 cm) x 18” (45.5 cm)

This hat was designed with Cascade 220 superwash wool. However, any light worsted weight yarn will work.

Enjoy this great cable knit!
