The Woodbriar Hat is a colourwork beanie using three colours. The two contrast colours require less than 20 g each, perfect for using mini skeins or remnants

Gauge: 32 stitches over 4 inches in colourwork

Recommended needle size: 2.75 mm 16-inch circular needle or size required to achieve gauge in colourwork, and double pointed needles in the same size for top of the hat; in addition a 16-inch needle one size smaller (2.25 mm) is recommended for the ribbing

Sizes:
small: actual-16 inches fits 18-20 inches
medium: actual-18 inches; fits 20-22 inches
large: actual-20 inches; fits 22-24 inches

Yarn requirements: Main colour (MC) 100 (125, 150) yards and two contrast colours (CC1 and CC2) 60 yards each of Hazel Knits Artisan sock yarn or any similar fingering weight yarn. If you wish to attach a yarn pompom you will need an additional 40 yards in whichever colour(s) you wish to use
