I have only test made the 2nd size, 26” chest size, which fits a 4 year old elf perfectly.
Some crochet experience necessary.
Single (sc) and double crochet (dc) stitches used are the American method.
It’s a lovely warm and cosy Hoodie.
King Cole Big Value Chunky is the softest acrylic chunky yarn I’ve found. The colour I used is called ‘Old Copper’.

Update: The 4 year old elf is now 7 and still wearing the hoodie (I recently had to cut and bind an opening at the neck so that he could get his head through). It is his favourite garment, when I asked him why he likes it so much he said “when I want something warm it is just the first thing I go to”.
