These cheery woodland animals make a fun crib mobile, and include a squirrel, racoon, fox, hedgehog, toadstool, acorn and leaves. This pattern incorporates intarsia colour-work, and the squirrel uses a loop stitch. You will also need to cast on and off, knit, purl, work increases and decreases, and sew seams. All pieces are worked flat (back and forth) on the single pointed knitting needles, not in the round. The mobile is suspended on single crochet chains worked on the crochet hook. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the toys are knitted in acrylic 4 ply yarns, although you can use DK (double knitting/light worsted) if you prefer.
