This is the ninth in a series of twelve linked patterns for a knitted wreath, to be published daily in December 2013.

This pattern is for two sizes of knitted hedgehogs, the big ones are about 5 cm long and the small ones 4 cm. The hedgehogs are knitted in one piece and then sewn together. You will need two shades of brown double knitting weight yarn. These would make lovely little toys on their own and don’t take long to make.
