Hi, There! Thank you so much for checking out my pattern! ✨ These mittens have been in my head for a couple of years, and I’m SO happy to finally be sharing them with you!

The plan was to release them on 12/01, twenty years after birthing my eldest, and becoming a new version of myself.
Now she’s 20. I’m 40 -and old as f--k, as she reminded me when I wished her a happy birthday- and learning to finally live a little more gently with myself and my loved ones.
Learning to lean in in and learn from life’s phases.

The blue-green and cream pair are knit with my special Chelle Clorado San Luis Valley 3 Ply that I picked up on a special girls trip over the summer, along with a dear old friend… the cranberry pair are knit with Blue Sky Woolstōk in Cranberry Compote that I saved from an old job that I loved at a place that I learned SO much about myself at & my handspun Corriedale Cross wool, spun when my kids were young — and is a bit heavier than a standard worsted, and leans a bit bulky in places …but it’s lovely, and I love both pairs equally!

please be sure to read through the full pattern, including the notes at the end prior to casting on!
