Combining two crafts in one project was always going to win us over. But, when we heard ‘fringed wall hanging’ and ‘inspirational phrase’, we had our yarn at the ready in record time.
This simple banner is created by cross stitching onto a crocheted pennant shape, then adding a row of tassels to finish. To keep your cross stitch tidy, work all the top stitches in the same direction. And, if you’d prefer a slightly looser weave to stitch into, work the crochet using a larger hook.
